Growing up in Plainsboro, NJ, Office Manager Lisa developed a passion for science at a young age, which led her to obtain an Associates of Applied Science degree from Manor College. Dedicated to the field, she says “I have always loved medicine and animals. I started in human nursing and switched over to animals because I felt more passionate towards helping to be their voice!” She has made it her mission to care for patients as if they were her own. Another passion is her desire for professional development, “I enjoy really being able to educate and train staff in all aspects of nursing. I also love to teach clients about the importance of preventative care and how it’s really about preventing disease early and following trends in order to make a tailored treatment plan for each individual pet."
Her professional interests include Dentistry, Surgery, Anesthesia, Hospital Management and Personal Development. She is a proud member of the AVMA, PVMA, NVTA, AVDC and the VHMA.
She shares her home with her spouse Joe, 2 children Shayne and Brighton and her many, many pets including 2 dogs, 5 cats, a ferret and 2 guinea pigs. When she is not hard at work at the hospital she loves coking for her family, reading, playing video games and knitting.
